It is contra-indicated for people suffering from uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, any kind of hernia, severe backache and major psychiatric disorders. This list is for guidance only and is not meant to be exhaustive. If in doubt, do not try it, and consult your trained medical professional for guidance. Anyone already undergoing physician-prescribed therapy should seek the advice of his or her doctor before reducing the dosage or stopping such treatment. Even a normal person experiencing discomfort while laughing must discontinue immediately and seek expert medical help. Please use your common sense: no strain, no new pain.

The American School Of Laughter Yoga declines any responsibility from incidents resulting from the use (or mis-use) of the Laughter Yoga technique. It is your responsibility to pro-actively consult your trained physician for approval before participating in any Laughter Yoga session. By taking part to a Laughter Yoga session you accept full responsibility for your physical fitness and state that you are able to participate safely in the activity.

Privacy Policy

The American School Of Laughter Yoga does not disclose, give, sell or transfer any personal information about our visitors. Period.

We take security seriously and take every reasonable precaution to protect your personal information both online and offline. Information requested when registering or ordering goods (including Your credit / debit card details) is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the industry standard encryption software.

In order to most efficiently serve you, credit card transactions and order fulfillment are handled by established third party banking, processing agents and distribution institutions. They receive the information needed to verify and authorize your credit card or other payment information and to process and ship your order.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations of the Internet which are beyond our control; (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through our web site cannot be guaranteed; and (c) any such information and data may be viewed or tampered with in transit by a third party.

Event Cancellation Policy

We realize that work and personal commitments may change, and the date originally booked may no longer be suitable. It is vital that our office is notified at the earliest possible time, if you are unable to attend the course.

Refund Policy

Please note that all cancellations and transfers must be made in writing and emailed to laugh@laughangeles.com. We will confirm receipt of your email within 48h. If you do not hear back from us within 48h of your cancellation or transfer request, you must call us at 626 755 5999.

• In short: we’re easy and understand that all cancellations are due to unforeseen reasons. As a rule of thumb we will always refund you what you have paid us in full, minus a fixed administration fee of US$35.00 per delegate.
• Note however that in those few instances when we our events do sell out and you notify us only within the last 7 days prior to course commencement, then sadly yes, 100% of the course value is payable. Should this happen to you and as a sign of goodwill then we will offer you to transfer your registration to another of our events.
• If a delegate does not attend and notice of cancellation or transfer has not been made in writing then the invoiced amount is still payable.
• Transfers, credit notes and gift vouchers are valid only once. If you are unable to attend the course the full amount is still payable.
• Replacement participants are welcomed at no additional cost.

In Case We Cancel

• Anything can happen any time to anybody, including us. The American School Of Laughter Yoga reserves the right to cancel any program at any time.
• If we cancel a program, you will receive a full refund. We recommend you contact your travel agent to purchase travel insurance in the event that you need to cancel or change your travel plans.

Workshop Fees

• A non-refundable deposit of $35 will secure attendance to the requested workshop
• All fees must be paid in full at least 15 days before the start of the event.

Insurance

• Each Individual is responsible for his or her own insurance needs (be it accidental and or medical). The American School Of Laughter Yoga does not take responsibility for the misuse of the training facility equipment and surrounding Property resulting in the injury to any person within the participating group or organization while attending one of our event.

Disclaimer

You will be asked to sign the following disclaimer before the workshop starts:

• I hereby declare that I have read and fully understand that laughter yoga exercises are equivalent to any other aerobic exercise and I therefore accept full responsibility for my physical fitness and state that I am able to participate in this workshop.
• I release the facilitators/teachers/instructors from any liability, should there be any accidental injuries that may occur during the laughter yoga exercises.
• I have consulted my physician and am able to participate in the workshop. I further declare that I am not suffering from any of the following conditions: uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, any kind of hernia, severe backache or major psychiatric disorder.

What You Can’t Bring

• Illegal / hallucinatory drugs of any kind, alcoholic anything and pets are not allowed in any of our trainings.
• Please keep your cell phone switched off or on vibrate mode during all work sessions.

Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping

All orders are shipped on either Tuesdays or Fridays, whichever is closest to the date of receipt of the order. We try to ship within 24h whenever possible. If any significant delays are expected then we will notify you and ask for your instructions.

• All CDs and DVDs unless otherwise specified, will be shipped by regular First Class Airmail Post.
• All Books, unless otherwise specified, will be shipped by USPS Media Mail

Note that the default price paid for shipping and handling is for delivery in the USA only. We may request additional payment for international orders and will contact you if this is the case.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds.

Please contact us if you have received a damaged product and we will arrange for a replacement.
