Editorial:Laughter greetings: Both my hands are full and I will keep this one short: life is good. As Laughter Yoga slowly seeps into the fabric of society more and more people want to hear about it and get an experience. The need to laugh as a form of exercise is growing and I don't see it going away anytime soon. This is both a good and a bad news. The good news is that the light is bright. There is more and more work and recognition for Laughter Yoga Professionals (I now get medical professionals, licensed psycho-therapists, heads of HR departments, etc., in pretty much each and every one of my trainings, and to me that's a very positive tell-tale sign). The bad news is that the light appears bright primarily because the darkness of the shadow reinforces the contrast. We're spiraling downwards as a society, personal stress levels are reaching new highs, and the future looks very gloomy. I think that the Laughter Yoga community has been given a great gift for a time of great need. What your role is to be in that grand novel of life you only can tell. Take action. Do something. Share what you know with others to the best of your abilities. It's a beautiful song. Sebastien Gendry |

Miscellaneous NewsThere are new videos on www.youtube.com/laughangeles:
We've posted over 140 laughter quotes here. Our personal top 26 are posted here. Volunteer wanted! We estimate that there are currently over 400 genuinely active Laughter Clubs in the USA (and far more of course if you count all the "would-be" Laughter Clubs where some people advertise that they COULD lead a laughter session IF they were asked and/or paid for that). We currently list over 100 daily, weekly, and monthly Laughter Clubs ('tis all free). Your help to identify and enter the data of the remaining 300 would be greatly appreciated. There is a lot of value for the general public there. Whether you have 1 spare hour / week or lots of time on your hands, you can help us! (you need to have a minimum of computer skills and access to a computer and the internet.) Email laugh@laughangeles.com for more information. The American Association of Therapeutic Humor is preparing for its 22nd Annual Conference "Healthy Humor: Hitting the Wellness Jackpot!" on Thursday, April 2 - Sunday, April 5, 2009 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
