Why common online passwords are embarrassingly easy to guess
A friend of mine recently pointed out that I was officially a geek. When asked why she said “that’s easy: you have over 20 different email accounts.”
Point taken. I am a geek. Which leads me today to talk about passwords. See the graph below. It’s the outcome of a hacker experiment to show how easy it is to guess common online passwords. You may want to change yours more often.
Personally I use KeepPass to create and store all of my passwords (it’s a free software) and I am extremely happy with it.
