Dr. Masaru Emoto conducted an experiment with rice. He got three jars of rice placed over the water. Every day for 30 days, he said “thank you” to the first jar, ignored the second, and said “you’re an idiot” to the third.

Here is a slightly different experiment on the same idea. This time no words were spoken, only written on the rice containers:
