There was a time in my life when I would have labelled the mass behavior in the video below as “bizarre”.
You see thousands of well dressed – no doubt respectable – middle-aged people behaving as if they were back in kindergarten and apparently having lots of fun doing it.
Either the Germans have no hangups (not true) or these people know something many others are missing.
I get it now (I say I am wise and you may say otherwise :-):
Laughter and play are basic human needs. You can survive, but you will never thrive without them.
Childlike playfulness is a human need
